Waad holds a degree in economics and management from the University of London’s International Programmes. She also attended the Arab Academy for Science, Technology and Maritime transport in Alexandria. Waad has worked for a number of local English-language news outlets. She is interested in covering socio-economic stories, and writing about how public policy influences everyday life and people’s livelihoods.
