Elisa Epstein is the Coordinator for the Washington Advocacy team at Human Rights Watch. Prior to joining Human Rights Watch, she was a Research Assistant at the Tahrir Institute for Middle East Policy and interned with the Pentagon’s Office of Middle East Policy and the American Refugee Committee. She holds a bachelor’s degree in Near Eastern Languages and Civilizations from the University of Chicago.
